Faraday is a happy, busy school where the children are engaged and learning from drop-off to collection.
The doors open at 8.15am when the children are warmly greeted by a staff member.
The school day runs from 8:45am-3:30pm, but we offer wraparound care to support working families. Our extra-curricular clubs go a long way to provide an enriching experience for our pupils.
In the morning, we gather for an assembly, where pupils’ personal, musical or academic successes are celebrated. Once a term, every class gets the chance to lead a topic-based assembly, often connected to the curriculum.
Three days a week, the children have a physical activity lesson, which includes Dance, PE and Games.
The school day ends at 3.30pm, with after-school clubs running 5 days a week until 4.45pm. Extended care is available daily until 5.30pm. Homework is set from Reception onwards and all children are encouraged to devote time to reading with their parents every day.
