Inspection Reports

Following our visit from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) we have now received the final inspection report and we are delighted that they have recognised all of our strengths as a school.

We are especially pleased that the excellent teaching and learning at Faraday has been highlighted; it is a testament to the dedication of our staff and their commitment to achieving consistently high standards across the school.

Highlights from the Inspection Report

The inspectors commend the staff’s work across all areas including teaching and pupil well-being highlighting that: “Staff know the pupils well and actively support their individual needs” that “the pastoral provision supports pupils’ emotional wellbeing, self-esteem and confidence effectively and “teachers plan carefully and deliver interesting lessons” and “As a result of effective teaching pupils make good progress in their work”

The early years provision was commended in that it “Promotes a stimulating and nurturing learning environment which supports children’s self-esteem and confidence.” and “leaders in the early years demonstrate kindness and cheerfulness so that children learn to treat others in a friendly and respectful manner.”

The impact of our work can also be seen in recognition of pupils’ development, with inspectors noting that “pupils demonstrate consistently motivated and responsible attitudes towards their learning” and that “pupils develop a range of interests and skills”. The report highlights that “pupils develop leadership skills and learn that it is generous, kind and responsible to serve and to help others”

New Inspection Framework

Under the new inspection framework, schools no longer receive a one-word judgement; instead, reports determine whether each section of the inspection was ‘met’ or ‘unmet’. We are delighted that Faraday School met all five sections of the standards following the inspectorate’s visit in May 2026. Read the May 2026 inspection report here.
