A very warm welcome to Faraday School.

Founded in 2009, Faraday is a small but growing independent primary school in East London. The school’s riverside location provides a magical environment and access to a stimulating, creative community that offers exciting learning opportunities for the pupils and staff.

Here at Faraday, we are committed to giving every child a first-class education, with small classes, quality teaching and a personal approach. In these formative years we hope to inspire a love of learning and that this desire to explore, grow and create will stay with our pupils for life. We place a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, with a targeted approach that enables each child to progress at their own level.

Our lessons stretch, challenge and engage pupils of all abilities and interests. We present children with the great literature, music and works of art to help them acquire an increased understanding of the world in which they live and build a thorough understanding of knowledge in each subject. As such, our curriculum is broad and stimulating, and includes specialist teaching in French, Music, Drama and Physical Education.

Children join our Reception class in their fifth year and leave for senior school at the age of eleven. The school day runs from 8.45 am until 3.30 pm, with our private buses running before and after school from a range of East London locations. We support busy parents by welcoming children from 8:15am and by offering after-school care until 5:30pm each day, with a wide range of extra-curricular activities on offer from gardening to robotics.

I hope that our website gives you a flavour of what we offer at Faraday. To find out more and to see the school in action, please contact us via our Admissions and Open Days page to arrange a visit.
