We are able to cater for children with mild Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and have experience of dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD.
As we are a non-selective school, we do not assess children for the Reception intake. However, intake at Years 1 and above involves an assessment and we would make a judgement on any SEND on an individual basis to ensure that we can meet the needs of all children at the school.
Our small class sizes and well-qualified staff enable us to provide plenty of individualised support to nurture those children who need more help and stretch those who benefit from more of an academic challenge. Our approach to differentiated learning means that all children are helped to achieve their potential. We can provide specialist one-to-one intervention where appropriate, with additional SEND support being invoiced separately.
