Money and Sense
We were delighted this week to receive our MoneySense Accreditation which shows our commitment to teaching financial education at Faraday.
During each year, our pupils participate in a number of workshops with visitors from the financial sector which focus on money, spending, budgeting and fraud.
Pupils from Reception - Year 6 are also involved in the Dog's Trust workshops which focus on economics surrounding having a pet.
Years 5-6 compete in the Fiver Challenge every June to learn how to run their own business, after receiving their £5 start up capital.
We also discuss money regularly in class, our younger years have role play areas with shops and we run half termly challenges about spending.
Congratulations pupils, parents and teachers at Faraday - let's keep talking about money!
