The School Council delivered an assembly on Remembrance Day and why we commemorate those that died in wars.
Today everyone at Faraday enjoyed the Halloween walking bus, a cake sale and a house activity.
Year 3 entertained the school with their very own Greek myth this week which included action, suspense and creative characters!
Our children took part in the first ever Unity Arts festival and created beautiful artworks out of recycled materials. It was also time to celebrate the birthday of the scientist Michael Faraday.
When artists meet, amazing things happen! This event was all about collaborating over art projects related to creating a 'forest' and Year 5 had such a great time drawing, painting and cutting out their unique ideas.

On Wednesday 1st February, Years 3 & 5 visited the V&A to participate in a literacy workshop which involved artefacts, animals and acting!
On Wednesday 25th January, our budding bus drivers, train enthusiasts and tube workers spent the day inspecting vehicles and learning about London's transport network.

Years 3 and 5 visited the Tate Modern and explored the galleries, focusing on emotions expressed through art.
New for the Autumn Term 2016-17. Mr Dimitrov's gardening club makes innovative use of ever square inch of space at Faraday school. Our budding young gardeners are already proving to be very green fingered.
The Year 5 classes are spending 4 nights in the Lake District taking part in field studies. It is an opportunity for pupils from both sister schools to join together and to enjoy the great outdoors.
