Welcome to Faraday School
Founded in 2009, Faraday is a small but growing independent primary school in East London located within the inspirational setting of Trinity Buoy Wharf.
Here at Faraday, we offer a traditional approach to primary education with a strong emphasis on the core knowledge and understanding of literacy and mathematics. We believe in a traditional approach, although lessons reflect modern thinking on how children learn most effectively. Our small classes and quality staff allow for a personal approach to learning. The Faraday curriculum is broad and stimulating, and includes specialist teaching in French, Music and Physical Education.
Faraday is a non-selective school that seeks committed families and pupils who can contribute to and benefit from its high standard of education and care. Pupils are selected for admission to the school on the basis of the date when they were first registered.
For entry into Reception class, we ask that you attend one of the open days to find out what life is really like at Faraday School.
For entry midway through the academic year or for years above Reception, a private tour and meeting with the Head Teacher can be arranged. For entry mid-year, an assessment may be made to ensure that we can meet the needs of your child and our other pupils.
